Our Team

Kathie is a skilled second-generation broker and realtor who helps drive the reputation of Capital Growth Buchalter as a leading real estate development firm.  A commitment to serving others is just one of the reasons Kathie got involved in real estate, inspired by her father, who started the business over 30 years ago.

A native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, she is a member of the West Alabama Chamber of Commerce, Vestavia Hills Chamber of Commerce, and Mountain Brook Chamber of Commerce. Kathie takes pride in her work as a leader in the community, and serves as a board member for several organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, Success By 6, and Temporary Emergency Services.  She is also a member of the Mayor’s Advisory Committee.  Additionally, Kathie volunteers her time with the University of Alabama Brewer-Porch Children’s Center, DRISTI for Autism, Community Kitchens in Birmingham, and the American Red Cross.

Kathie received her bachelor’s degree in social work and a master’s degree in special education from the University of Alabama. When she’s not busy working, Kathie enjoys horseback riding, gardening, reading, and spending time with her daughter, Katie, and her family.
