Unlike developers who focus solely on slow and steady growth, CGB prefers to pursue and acquire a blend of real estate projects including value-add and opportunistic ones as well as stable assets with long-term redevelopment potential. We don’t mind deals with complex histories or structures—including those with less stable or non-existent cash flows. CGB has the history, competencies, and patience to take these challenged buildings or projects and turn them into income-producing ones.

CGB has successfully completed acquisitions ranging from sale-leasebacks and distressed properties to operator joint-ventures and complete redevelopments. We’ve retrofitted existing properties, made strategic purchases for long-term holds, and managed cash flow through blend-and-extend and reverse build-to-suits. We’ve partnered with an owner-operator to acquire their entire real estate portfolio and lease it back to them, so the owner could focus their time, energy, and capital in their core business.
