When Hardees wanted to buyout their lease from select southeast locations, CGB was there to help. We partnered with the franchisee operator in the redevelopment of the properties which were underperforming assets. CGB helped the franchisee obtain a higher and better use by purchasing the property, releasing the operator from the lease, attracting a new tenant, and converting the space to a new concept. The net result was that Hardees was released from their lease, a local restaurant with a higher and better use received control of the space, and ultimately added value to the surrounding community by providing a more in-touch food concept for the area.
