With historic ties to the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a corporate headquarters in Birmingham, it’s only natural that Capital Growth Buchalter supports UAB Athletics. We join the UAB Department of Athletics in our excitement for its new Blazers Care Program, leading into the 2022 UAB Football season.
The Blazers Care Program is a great way for companies and individuals to provide a UAB football and UAB men’s basketball game day experience to youth organizations across Central Alabama. By purchasing season tickets through the Blazers Care Program, tickets will be donated to underprivileged or charitable organizations across the greater Birmingham area. Tickets may also be donated back to an organization of your choosing.
UAB Athletics Foundation Board member Robert Buchalter, Managing Principal and Co-Chairman of Birmingham-based Capital Growth Buchalter (CGB), helped champion the initiative as a way for businesses and donors to support UAB Athletics while providing tickets to their favorite charitable organizations.
“The Blazers Care Program is another great avenue to give back to deserving organizations in the community while supporting UAB Athletics,” Buchalter said. “It has been extremely rewarding to see both companies and individuals step up and provide these win-win experiences through UAB sporting events, and we challenge area businesses to continue to join us in this endeavor.”
Several CGB leaders, industry partners, and related organizations have jumped in and become early supporters of the program. Those interested in supporting the 2022-23 Blazers Care Program can fill out and return the form to join today. A third-generation national development, construction, investment, and management firm, Capital Growth Buchalter has long-time relationships with several university systems and collegiate partners.
