Our Team

Garrett Hicks serves Capital Growth Buchalter in the role of Leasing & Development Associate, working out of the Charlotte office. His responsibilities include handling commercial leasing in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia, assisting with acquisition of client properties for the preferred development program, and real estate site selection and analysis for the Charlotte office.

Prior to joining CGB, he worked for Bell Commercial as a real estate site analyst and completed an internship with Foundry Commercial in Raleigh/ Durham. Garret holds a real estate broker license in North Carolina and a salesperson license in South Carolina.

Garrett graduated with a B.B.A. in Economics with a minor in finance from the University of Mississippi. Before transferring to the University of Mississippi, he played football as a linebacker for Wofford College.

When he’s not in the office, Garrett connects with his community by volunteering with Spare Some for Autism. He also can be found in the gym power lifting with his fiancée Theresa or enjoying the outdoors hunting and fishing. Garrett is currently an instrument-rated pilot, working towards his commercial pilot license.
